Our Building Process

Initial Consultation

We host a meet-and-greet at Van Tyson’s home where clients share their vision for their dream home. We discuss design preferences and tour Van’s home and ongoing construction projects to showcase our custom home offerings.

Planning and Design

Once clients decide to build, we guide them through site-specific requirements. For properties in floodplains, we outline compliance options and assign an architect or draftsman. Together, we develop a complete set of plans for our team to prepare a project bid.

Review and Permitting

We review the bid in person or via Zoom, followed by an architectural review meeting to ensure compliance with neighborhood guidelines. After approval, we submit plans for permitting, finalizing the pre-construction phase. This process may take 6-8 months, with regular client communication to navigate any challenges.
